NEW SECRETARIES.
Three Officials to Fill Posts of
Sir M. Hankey.
HIGH BRITISH POSITIONS
(Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON*, June 1. The posts occupied by Sir Maurice Hankey, who resigned to enter the directorate of the Suez Canal, will be filled by three appointments.
Mr. K. K. Bridges, son of the late Poet Laureate. Dr. Robert Bridges, has lK>en appointed "Permanent Secretary and Secretary of the Cabinet."
Sir Rupert Howortli has been appointed Clerk of the Privy Council, and rerun ins Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet.
Colonel H. L. Ismay, Deputy Secretary to the Committee of Imperial Defence, lias been appointed secretary of that committee.
