MATAKANA DELAYED.

MATUA FROM COOK ISLANDS.

REMUERA DUE MONDAY. ROTOEUA FOR FIXAL LOADING. The hfhaw Ijavill and Albion steamer Matakana, which was duo this afternoon from Xcw Plymouth, hits been delayed and will not arrive until 3 p.m. to-morrow. She is for linal loading here and will Lerth at Queen's wharf, .sailing at 7 a.m. next Thursday for London and West Coast ports, via Panama and Kingston. .Messrs. L. ]>. Xathan and Co., Ltd., are local agents. The Union Company's motor vessel Matua will arrive from the Cook Islands and Rarotonga at 6.30 a.m. to-morrow, berthing a? Prince's wharf. She is to sail at noon on Saturday for Nukualofa, Apia and Suva. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Remuera advises that she will arrive from London, via Panama, at noon on Monday. She lirings a large number of passengers, also general cargo for discharge at main ports. The i-anic company's steamer Rotorua left Tokoinaru Bay at S a.m. to-day for Auckland and is due at 7 a.m. to-morrow, berthing at Kings wharf to continue loading. She .sails from Wellington on June 10 for London., via Panama.

Niagara sailed for Sydney at 4 p.m. yesterday in continuation of her voyage from Vancouver. She took 300 passengers from Auckland and is due at Sydney on Sunday. (L'.S.S. Co.)

Waiotapu sails at il o'clock to-night for Newcastle and Willinmstown, Melbourne, where she loads wheat fur Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.)

Port Montreal, wliieh is discharging cargo from Halifax at Prince'd wharf, will sail for Wellington at 7 a.m. on Saturday. (F. Co-op.)

Mataroa, now loading for London at Prince's wharf, will leave at 8 p.m. tomorrow for Port Chalmers. (A..5.P.)

Akar:,a, whicli sailed from London on May 13, will arrive on June 10 with passengers and cargo for main porte. (L.D.X.)

Tolten, under charter to the Union Company, will arrive early on Saturday morning from Pacific Coast jiorts, via Papeete. Co.)
