Several visiting horses who arrived overnight were exercised at Ellerslie this morning. They included: Hunting Blood, Lucid us, Bryce Street, Kilberis and Pirate King. Strong work was also allotted to a number of other horses on the No. 3 grass track, which provided good going. Bo ce Street, Kilberis and Lucidus were worked separately over about a mile and a half, being speeded over the last three furlongs. J his trio are looking in excellent order after their racing at Te Rapa. Hunting Blood, who is in the same stable, was also given useful work and will strip in great order for his engagements here.

Huskie (Mateer) and Hirangi (Jenkine) completed n round in 1.46 2-5. They ran their last seven furlongs in 1.38. and there was not much between them at the finish. \\ . J. McDowell will ride Hirangi in the Hunters' Hurdles on Monday.
