WAIKATO DAIRY SHOW.

AT WINTER EXHIBITION.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Confirming the reputation it has held for some years as being the greatest dairy exhibition in the world, dairy fntries for this year's Waikato Winter Show, opening on June 1, total 1180. Of these, 759 have been received for the butter section and 421 for the cheese section. They come from almost every dairy district in New Zealand. Judging started this morning,, and will continue throughout the week, after which the exhibits will be attractively laid out for show week. The judges are as follow:— Butter: Messrs. J. O'Dea (Wellington), W. Dempster, N. Wallace, T. Henry, G. Batt (Hamilton), L. Morrison (Whangarei), J. Wainscott (Napier), J. G. Wilson (New Plymouth)/E. G. Melton (Palmerston North),

Cheese: Meas'/s. C. Stevenson (Wellington), E. C. Wood, T. M. Foster (Auckland), W. Crawford (New Plymouth), M. Tennent (Bluff), J. Earl (Hamilton). ' General entries for the show, which have not been finalised, were described by the secretary. Mr. W. H. Paul, to-day as a record for the association.
