AIR RAID WARNINGS.
BRITISH SYSTEM OF SIGNALS. (Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, May 6. A memorandum issued by the Home Office on air raid warning signals provides both for general warnings over a considerable area by siren and local street signals, to be operated by police and air raid wardens, and types of signals for raid warnings and "raiders passed" messages. Street signals for gas warnings and cancelling gas warnings are also specified.
