FOUND AT ROADSIDE.
ROBBED OF HER HANDBAG. (Special.—By Air Mall.) LONDON, April 12. A beautiful London artist'e model. Mise Eleanor Hawthorne, was attacked by three men during a holiday vieit to Parie. She was found at the roadeide near Versailles by a motorist and taken back Lo her hotel. Her attackers robbed her of her handbag containing flO. Mise Hawthorne
lives with her actress, friend, Mies Esperance Xelina, at Cambridge Court, Paddington. Her mother, who lives at Maida Vale, told a reporter: "My daughter wrote to me to-day saying that she and Mies Xelina, with whom she has been on holiday, were returning to London to-night. "Eleanor has been out there with her friend for the last week. Miss Xelina lias been visiting friends, and Eleanor joined her." Miss Hawthorne was "Miss 1933" at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters' i show of that year.
