HOLIDAY RACING.
FIVE MEETINGS HELD. OPENING DAY OF TAKAPUNA FIXTURE FORBURY PARK, PAHIATUA, RESULTS. Five turf meetings were held in the Dominion to-day, and chief local interest centred in the opening day of the Takapuna Jockey Club's summer meeting. The Forbury Park Trotting Club and Pahiatua Racing Club concluded their fixtures at Dunedin and Pahiatua respectively, while a one-day fixture was held at Clifden, Southland. The Nelson Trotting Club's annual attraction was opened at Blenheim.
