SENTENCED TO DEATH.
Jewish Policeman Who Killed Arab Colleague. ATTACKS ON MAIN ROADS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) HAIFA, January 28. A Jewish policemen has been sentenced to death for the murder of an Arab colleague as a reprisal for the murder of two Jews. The Jerusalem correspondent of "The Times"' states that in spite of the enrolment of 800 Jewish volunteer patrols the Hebrew community is apprehensive owing to repeated attacks on the main roads resulting in deaths and mutilation. Heavy rain hampers the British troops in the Hebron district. An Arab boy was fatallv shot.
