Jackson, who ie rowing No. 5 in the New Zealand eight, will start in the international invitation double sculls race. The manager of the Australian team has arranged to borrow a boat from George Towns for the pair, and this should add interest to the race. Already J. and R. Offer, of England, and W. Bradley and C. Pearce (Australia) have announced that they are competing.
