IN AUCKLAND TO-MORROW.
ON" HOLIDAY VISIT.
The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. M. .T. Savage, will arrive by the Limited express from Wellington to-morrow morning, his intention l»eing to spend a brief vacation in Auckland extending over the Christmas and Xew Year holi" days. It will be his second visit, to Auckland since his return from the Imperial Conference. Mr. Savasre came to Auckland last August to welcome the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Xash. on his return from an extended tour of England, the Continent and America on business connected with trade aoreement*>. "
t Prime Minister has had no leisure time since his return from England and desires his present visit to be a genuine holiday as far as possible, and he will have few official engagements. He will however, be present at the ceremony of officially installing a tenant in one of the Government houses at Orakei on Thursday afternoon.
Although Mr. Savage will hp delighted to meet old friends and make new friends, lie lias made it clear that he desires his visit to he as informal as possible. He does not desire to have the usual round of deputations and official duties associated with Ministerial visits at other periods of the year.
