SPECIAL TRAINS.
SUMMER IXCUBIIOHI. The first of the Hummer excursion# conducted by the Railway Department will be held during the coming weekend. when special trains will travel to Wellington and Rotorua. This year's programme of summer excursions is similar to that which proved so popular last year. The train for Wellington will leave Auckland at 5.40 on Friday evening, arriving there at, 0 a.m. the next morning. Excursionists will leave on their return at 2.50 on Suoday afternoon, and tho train is duo at Auckland at 0.38 a.m. on Monday morning. The Rotorua special leaving Auckland at 5.51 p.m. on Friday will arrive at 11.24 the same night, and will leave on return at 4.23 on Sunday, reaching the city at 10.1 p.m. Thin train should give visitors to the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club's mooting ample opportunity of touring tho thermal regions before returninir t' Auckland.
