Austria. 8261b. 1 : Hostin, France. 821b, 2 ; Geilt, Germanv, 80.31b 3. Heavy-weight.—Monger, Germany. 925|1b. 1 : I'senicka. Czechoslovakia, 892J1b, 2 ; Schottner, Germany. 870Jlb 3. Rrtnald Walker. Britain's strongest man, and hope for the heavy-weight title, came fifth. He was suffering from an injured knee, sustained while training.
