RAWHITI LODGE.
ANNIVERSARY BALL. On the occasion of their last meeting Rawhiti Lodge No. 145, 1.0.0. F., had a large attendance of officers and members, Bro. Lee. Smith, N.G., presiding. The business of the lodge was quickly dispatched, among which was the formation of a lodge cricket team. Bro. Manse, P. 0., conveyed greetings from Epsom Lodge. The 10th anniversary ball was then held, over 160 people being present. During the supper interval Bro. Les. Smith, X.G., was introduced by Bro. S. Watt, V .G., who proved himself an efficient master of ceremonies. Bro. Les. Smith, X.G.. welcomed all present and thanked them for their support. A. Blakelv. DiD.G.M.. congratulatedjHthe lodge on the progress it had wished it all the success for tlv| f future; Sister Culpitt, L.D.D.G.M., was called upon to cut the cake and in doing so wished Rawhiti Lodge all the best in the years to come. The first Monte Carlo waltz was won by Bro. Blakely and Mrs. Francis, Bro. Yates and Sister Johnson. The second by Bro. Hartmann and partner, Sister D. Belchamber and partner.
