ORAKEI HOUSES

ARRANGING THE TENANCIES.

(To the Editor.)

If there are thirty houses completed at Orakei the successful tenants should be allowed into occupation about the middle of this month. This will release tenements in the city which cau be occupied by the large number of those waiting for houses, and thus ease housing conditions all round. By allowing the tenants in the Orakei houses immediately they will have time to get settled before Christmas, and can do much in their new homes during the holidays. Surely the authorities will not delay longer in allowing tenants into the houses. HOME SEEKER.
