BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
Mrs. l>. S. Kelly pave an enjoyable bridge afternoon yesterday, the guest of honour being Mrs. C. St. (.'lair Woollama, of City Koad. The private room of George Court and Sons was beautifully flower bedecked for the occasion in roses of all colours and high vases of pink carnations.
Prize winners were: Contract, Mrs. Mullen; auction, Mrs. S. Kowbottom; hidden numbers, Mrs. W. Lovatt and Miss Leighton; consolation, Mrs. Macklow and Mrs. Wool lams.
Among the players present were: Mrs. J. Perry, Mrs. W. J. Lovett, Mrs. W. Dickinson, Mrs. W. W. Wright, Mm. H. Clarke, Mrs. L. .Tenkineon. Mrs. S. Rowbottom, Mrs. C. Howard, Mrs. G. Pelham, Mrs. A. Thompson, Mrs. L. Barker, Mrs. Thorborn, Mrs. Colwell, Mrs. N. Wallace, Mrs. R. Pycroft, Mrs. Connelly, Mrs. J. Mack low, Mre. A. Clinkard and Mrs. F. Gwillam.
