NIAGARA ARRIVED.

MATUA FROM THE ISLANDS. CUMBERLAND FOR. NAPIER. KARAMEA ARRIVES TO LOAD. The Canadian Australasian Royal Mail steamer Niagara arrived at 0.30 a.m. to-day from Sydney with passengers, mail and cargo. She is berthed «t Prince's wharf, and will sail at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Vancouver, via Suva, Honolulu and Victoria, B.C. The Union Company's motor vessel' Matua arrived early this morning from her regular visit to the South Pacific I Inlands of Karotonga, Nukualofa, Apia land Suvh. She is berthed at the Central wharf, and saiLs at ."> p.m. tomorrow for Wellington. The steamer Cumberland, of the Federal Line, left at (i a.m. yesterday for Napier, to continue discharge of her carjro from Liverpool. The motor ship Karamea, of the Shaw Navill and. Albion Line, arrived at 0.110 a.m. to-day from New Plymouth to continue loading. She berthed at Queen's wharf, and will leave on Saturday for Napier, from which port she =ails for London on November 10. Me-srs. L. 1). Nathan and Co., Ltd., are local agents. I Orion sailed shortly after midnight on Saturday for Wellington and leaves this evening'for Sydney. (U.S.S. Co.) Columbia is expected to complete discharge of phosphate cargo this evening and sail later for Nauru Island. (8.P.C.) Middlesex, which is at Opua to-day, is expected here to-morrow evening to continue loading for London and West Coast ports. (X.Z.S. Co.) Ruahine is discharging London cargo at the Central wharf and is expected to leave on Saturday morning for New Plymouth. (N.Z.S.' Co.) Australind, which left Montreal on September 2.'1 advises that she expects to arrive at daybreak on Friday. (N.Z.S. Co.) Awatea, which left Auckland at 5.2."> p.m. on Friday, arrived at Sydney at 7.20 a.m. to-day. (U.S.S. Co.)" Wanganella arrived at Sydney at 6.15 a.m. to-day from Wellington.
