Crump, who has been visiting Dargaville, has returned to Grafton Road. Manton arrived by monoplane from Wellington on Saturday and left again by air yesterday. • • • • Overseas visitors at the Central Hotel include Mrs. C. Grinrod, of London, and the Misses A. and P. Unmack, of Sydney. Mrs. Hugh Hanna, of Wesbourne Road, Remuera, is spending a holiday in Christchurch as the guest of her sister, Mrs. E. Davison. • • • • Miss Bobby French, of Scone, New South Wales, accompanied by Miss Noel Baker, arrived by the Orion and left for a motor tour of the thermal resions • • • ". Miss Rene George left by the Awatea on an extended tour of New South Wales and will stay in Adelaide with Mrs. Gillhan, nee Miss Nora Hartman, of\Auckland. • • • • Miss Joyce Smith, of Northcote, who left by the Mariposa on a holiday visit to Sydney, was farewelled on board on behalf of the Northcote Plunket Committee, and presented with a bouquet of flowers by the president, Mrs. Archie Campbell, who conveyed the appreciation of the members of her work for the Plunket Society and their best wishes lor an enjoyable trip.
