SPECTACULAR DISPLAY.

DUAL PARACHUTE DROPS

Spectacular parachute descents by Mr. G. W. Sellars, of Baklutba, and Mr. G. H. Pegley, of Wellington, thrilled a crowd of several thousands, the largest this season, at the Mangere Aerodrome yesterday afternoon. Ascending in

separate machines, which flew in concert, the two parachutists jumped off almost together and, in spite of a strong southerly wind, made successful landings. In addition to the usual passenger flights conducted by the Auckland Aero Club in the Beechcraft and Moth machines, the Union Airways' Lockheed liner made three short trips with 10 passengers on each flight. A display of aerobatics was given by Flight-Lieutenant D. M. Allan.
