FAREWELL GATHERING.

A farewell 'evening and dance to Mr. and- Mrs. Alfred Boot, -who have resided in the'district for 17 yeans, was given by the residents of Parau. After supper Mr. E. Crothall presented Mr. and Mrs. Boot with an English teaset and Miss Boot with a 'crystal rase. Their future home will be in Henderson.
