f l¥B SHOPS TO BE LEASED. . The Auckland City Council at a meeting to-morrow evening will receive tenders for the letting of five shops and a restaurant at the Auckland Municipal Transport Station on the old railway station site. ' The leases are to be for a period of three years, and only businesses agreed to by the council will be carried on. The lessees will not be liable for municipal rates other than the water rate. A stipulation has been made that benzine, oil or fuel shall not be sold on any of the premises.
