Two children and a woman were killed while 20 other persons were injured, 12 of them critically, in an explosion of fireworks lying on a shop counter for the annual Fourth or July celebrations. Someone tossed a lighted firecracker on the counter. An explosion occurred, followed by fire, which trapped 30 persons in the building. Some leapt from the second storey sustaining broken limbs. Pedestrians forced their way into the shop and lcscucd many badly hurt children.
