CANTERBURY CLUB.

There was a large ■ attendance at the Rest-a-while Rooms last evening when the members of the Canterbury Club held their monthly reunion. Mr. W. R. Fee occupied the chair and introduced the speaker of the evening, Mr. C. E. Jones, who addressed the club on celebrities met in travels abroad. Songs were contributed by Messrs. L. Barnes and W. Gemmel, with Mrs. T. Joll at the piano. During the evening the president, Mr. H. E. Frost, on behalf of members, .presented one of their number, Mr. Len Barnes, with a travelling rug, wishing for him and Mrs. Barnes a happy return to their old home, Christchurch.
