MURDER SUSPECT.

DEATH OF THREE YOUNG GIRLS (Rwielved 9.30 a.m.) LOS AXGELES, July 1. Luther Down, aged 33, a tramp, and an alleged ex-prisoner, has been arrested on a charge of suspicion in connection with the murders of three little girls j at Inglewood, a suburb of Los Angeles, on Monday. Down resembled the descriptions of the wanted man. He bore scratches on the body which might have been inflicted in a struggle and which he was not able to explain.
