SOCCER CODE.

TO-MORROW'S GAMES. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. RESUMPTION OF COMPETITION It will be almost a novelty to see Soccer seniors again in action to-morrow afternoon, for it is now four weeks since the competition was suspended owing to the visit of the English eleven, and, the rain last Saturday caused a further interruption. The teams, however, may have made the most of the spell and should be in the best of fettle for the three contests tomorrow afternoon, all of which promise to provide strenuous games. At Blandford Park there will be two games. The first, between Thistle and Abels is certain to result in a dour, determined struggle between these keen rivals. Abels will find the leaders a difficult side to beat, but the task of the Ihistle is of no mean order. A rousing game should be the outcome. The 3 o'clock match is between Ponsonby and Comrades. _ North Shore will have an opportunity of lilting themselves from the bottom of the table when they have Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys as their guests at Devonport. Shore have had several slices ot bad luck, while they also have refused to make the most of chances that have com<; their way, but with the second and last round commenced, their position on the table and the spectre of relegation should spur them to greater effort. Old Boys, however, will have as big a say in the verdict to-morrow, and a bright display should eventuate.

As there has been no championship Soccer for a month, enthusiasts may be glad to know how the senior competition stands:— Goals. Ch. p - w - I- D- V. A. Pt«.
