MANY ACCIDENTS.

FALL FROM HERNE BAY CAR. , .CONDUCTOR'S INJURIES. When he fell from a Herne Bay tramcar last night shortly after 12.30 o'clock a conductor, Mr. Cecil A. Shine, aged 22, living at 13, Firth Street, Grey Lynn, suffered concussion and abrasions. The accident occurred along the straight stretch of line before reaching the Herne Bay terminus, and the conductor fell near West End Road* ; The motorman was unaware of the accident and continued to the terminus, a distance of a few hundred yards? A passenger wfco. had alighted, howwas a witness of the mishap, and reported the matter. A St. John ambulance was called and'the injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition this morning was regarded as -fairly serious.

ELDERLY MAN'S FALL.

An inmate of the home of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Tweed Street, Ponsonby, Mr. Patrick James Hennessey, aged 70, fractured his right elbow and left wrist last evening, when he fell about eight feet when cleaning windows. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is fairly serious.

INJURIES TO THE HEAP.

Head injuries and concussion were suffered by Mr. Walter Ralston, labourer, aged 50, of 41, Cooper Street, Arch Hill, yesterday afternoon when lie fell on the pavement in Bond Street. Grey Lynn. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. -John ambulance and his condition is reported to be satisfactory.
