Unemployed and Relief Workers

DEMANDS TO BE PRESENTED.
(Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The State Council of the unemployed and relief workers will meet in Sydney next month to hear reports from north, south and west of the State, from which points it is intended to conduct simultaneous hunger marches .to Sydney Domain, where the marchers propose to camp. They will subsequently proceed to Parliament buildings and place before the Governor their demands, including full-time work at award rates and an adequate housing scheme. A thousand men, including unemployed from the coalfields, plan to march from Newcastle in easy stages, occupying 13 days. * j
