PIGEON FLYING.
NORTHERN CfcTJB. The Northern Racing Pigeon Club held Its seventh race of the young bird* series on Saturtay. There was an excellent entry of 98 birds by 17 members and the 1 finish was very close amongst the first seven. The birds* were liberated at Taumarunui at 11.85 -'a,m., ami the leaders covered the 145 miles to Auckland l Jn just under four hours. : if Result: — Mr. N.
