NAVAL SPORTS. TRAINING DIVISION. FIEM) DAY AT BASE. In brilliant weather the athletic sports of the training division were held at the naval base at Devonport yesterday afternoon, when the various events were Very keenly contested. A fine performance was put up by Stoker Bright, of H.M.S. Philomel l , who won the 100 yards, 220 yards and 440 yards events. Results were:— 100 Yards.—First heat: Aylward 1, Cadman 2, Hiffson 3.
