A Caledonian Society, with a membership of sixty, has been formed by residents of Scottish descent at Waiheke. and provision lias lxen made for the admission of members of other than Scottish birth. The officers are: Patron, Mr. A. R. Alison; chief, Mr. T. (). Kirkpatrick: chieftains. Messrs. .7, Kennedv and 1). Mac(.Jre«or; pipers, Messrs. T. A. McKenzie and 1). Laniuiit; secretary, Mr. A. Gillespie.
