CAR OVERTURNS.
CRASHES INTO A FENCE.
COLLISION AT MANGERE.
When two cars came into collision at Mangere. about six o'clock last night two women and two children, who were the occupants of one, hud a fortunate escape from serious injury when their vehicle overturned after crashing into a fence on the roadside. •
Mr. H. J. Moflit, of 40, Portage Road, Otahuhu, the driver, suffered a severe cut on tlie hand and abrasions to the shoulder, while Mrs. Moflit ami thair daughter, who was accompanied by her two children, aged nine and ti\ l years, were not injured.
The second vehicle was being driven by Master M. 1). Nash, aged 14, son of Mr. M. D. Nash, of Mangere. He was not injured. After the impact Mr. Moflit's car narrowly missed a power pole and capsized after striking and breaking several posts of the fence. First aid was rendered to Mr. Moftit by a passing member of a St. John Ambulance unit, and lie was able to go home. His car was badly damaged, and later had to I>;■ towed awav.
