£9O£OO WATERWORKS LOAN. <By Telegraph.—Pr«w Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. By a majority of more than two ta one ratepayers rejected a proposal to borrow £90,000, principally for an extension of the city'g main water supply system at Tiritea. The total scheme would cost £112,000, the balance being granted as State subsidy. The poll was a small one.
