BON VOYAGE PARTY.
Prior to the departure of the Awatea on Wednesday, opportunity was taken of bidding "Au Revoir" to Mrs. Hickey, who was leaving with her son for her home in Victoria, after a short holiday visit to New Zealand. Many who had been associated with Mrs. Hickey—the guest of honour —when she was resident in Auckland gathered at John Court's tearoom for this cheery valedictory party. Amongst those present were: Mrs. Williams, also Misses Stevens, Broadgate, Daldy, Mason and Tulloch, .The party then motored to the Awatea, where streamer* and bouquets weTe much in evidence.
