AT HOME.
TAKAPUNA CROQUET CLUB
The members of the Takapuna Croquet! Club held a successful At Home at their lawns yesterday, at which many visitor* from other clubs were present. Mrs. M. O'Halloran, president of the Takapuna Croquet Club, welcomed the guests and presented the prizes, the prize winners being as follow: —Morning cession: Mrs. W. Runciman, first in the A's; Mrs. L. A. Cushworth, first in the B's. Afternoon session: Mrs. W. Runciman, first in the A's; Mre. Angus, first in the B'e; Mrs. M. O'Halloran, ladder game; Mrs. R. Robins, clock croquet. Mrs. W. H. Nagle was in charge of a '"bring and buy" stall, which was well patronised. Afternoon tea was. served in the pavilion, which was tastefully decorated with African marigolds and fern. The. committee comprised Mrs. Stephenson (hon. secretary), Mrs. F. E. Amodeo, Mrs. W. Runcjman, Mrs. W. Cooper, Mre. R. Robins, Mrs. Gregory and Mrs. N. Veale.
