S.O.S. TO MOTOR VESSEL DIRECT TRIP TO NEW PLYMOUTH. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, this day. The motor ship Port W'hangarei, on her present trip up the coast from Wellington, cut out Wanganui and went direct to New Plymouth to supplement the supply of beer, which had run short after the holidays. .The vessel will call at Wanganui on her return after having broken the Ta n ranaki "drought."
