MISERABLE BOTOBVA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day. Rotorua and the surrounding districts •*e in the grip of driving rain, which began last night and increased to a downpour this morning. The wind is from the same quarter as it was last week. Campers are doing their best to pack their belongings and leave the town. Reports of motorists who have come into the town to-day show that roads in all directions are passably, though "pot-holed." A grader was at work on them as soon as the weather cleared in the week-end, but the' surface is very lough. All reports siiv that highways ■how no signs of flooding.
