When riding a bicycle on Thursday at 110.10 p.m., Mr. William Barry, of 2, 'Springfield.Street, Western Springs, was knocked down by a motor car, at the ' corner of Beach -Road and Anzac Avenue, jand sustained a fractured right ankle. iHe was admitted to the Auckland Hosjpital in a St. John ambulance.
