IMPORTANT INTERVIEW INTERRUPTED.
Details of an important business transaction were to be finalised at the office of an Auckland agent. A well-Jcnown local manufacturer arrived at the appointed hour, and after listening to the proposition under consideration, commenced to comment, when he was seized with a severe paroxysm of coughing. He was obviously distressed, and seemed inclined to discontinue the interview. The agent conducting the negotiations produced a bottle of Baxter's Lung Preserver, and his client needed no per-
suasion to take a good dose. Immediate relief followed, and the interview was satisfactorily concluded.
