EXCELLENT FISHING.
CONDITIONS AT TAUPO. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAXGAXUI, this day. Mr. T. Hurley, who returned from Toknanu yesterday, reports that excellent fishing is obtainable at Lake Taupo. He brought back a number of fish all in good condition, ranging yi weight up to "ilb. Mr. Hurley explained that the river fishing was not so good at present as in the lake, which latter is lower now than it was in February last.
