PAPATOETOE WELFARE.

At the monthly meeting of the Papatoetoe Welfare League Mr. J. G. Thompson presiding, strong objection was taken to tile proposed work on the frontage of the tennis courts on the Great South Road, while residents in the district are without footpatlls.

It was decided to draw the attention of the Town Board to the continued practice of riding bicycles on the footpaths, raid riding without lights_ at night; also the practice of leaving bicycles lying on the footpath in the main road.
