CRICKETERS' TRIBUTE.
Players in the trial cricket match at Eden' Park observed the spirit of Proclamation Day and demonstrated their loyalty to the Sovereign by gathering I in front of the pavilion at 2.30 to sing the National Anthem. The spectators stood to attention and joined in the singing.
