" There was an excellent attendance of guests at the Higher Thought Centre recently for the last dance of the season." Mrs. Lagan, the hostess for the evening, arranged an interesting programme. Song items rendered by Mrs. E. Jackson were well received. Mrs. C. Dickens presented Mrs. Lagan and Mrs. Green with beautiful bouquets as an appreciation o'f their work and service. Congratulations and the good wishes of the club were extended to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dickens on the occasion of their wedding anniversary. Mrs. J. Gates presented Mrs. Dickens with a lovely bridal bouquet of carnations and sweet peas 'oh behalf of Mr. E. Dickens. Dance music was supplied by Mesdames Goldie and McCune, also Messrs. Neilson and Chambers.
