MOTOR OLYMPIA.

TREND OF NEWEST MODELS. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, October l(i. Closed cars predominate at Olympia where the International Motor Exhibition was opened with exhibits of .'SO British and 24 foreign manufacturers. Cars appear to be getting larger with a tendency toward increased power. Freak streamlining is not seen, but the body-work of most cars is clean-lined with the receptacles for spare wheel*, and luggage lockers incorporated in the coacliwork. Ventilation is improved on nearly all models and independent suspension wheels arc becoming more common. Another noticeable improvement is car maintenance which is again much simpler. . Centralised chassis lubrication is a feature on many of this year's' cars and built-in four-wheel jacking systems are now common.
