KIOREROA ROAD WORK.
COST OVER £3000 TO DATE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. At the last meeting of the Whangarei Harbour Board, llr, K. Stevens asked that the engineer should prepare a report on what the Ivioreroa Road had cost to date. At yesterday's meeting this report was tabled. The report stated that to date £458$ had been spent. From that figure the sum of. £949, representing work incidental to, but not actually in that section for which money was granted, had to be deducted, leaving the amount actually spent outside the borough at'£3o39. The estimate of completing the road was £1250.
