FIJIAN CHIEF IN THE NEWS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, August 14. The remarkable feat of the captain of the native Fijian Golf Club (named the Vunisea), Batu Savenaea, of holing in one during a golf match has been reported all over the English-speaking countries where golf is played. Now lie has received a request from tlio "Manchester Guardian" to send along a story relating to his club, with a photograph, which lie has done. So Kaudavu finds its feet and blushingly steps into the limelight of fame.
