WOODS AND DUSEK DRAW. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Sunday. In a fast, spectacular bout, which went the full eight rounds, Joe Kopacli Woods, 15.4, drew with Danny Dusek, 16.2, with one fall each. Dusek took a fall in tlie fifth round with a giant swing and jack knife. Woods equalised in the eighth with a dump following heavy elbow jolts. McCREADY BEATS BOESCH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. Pinned for a fall in the first ten seconds of the bout after a hurricane drop-kick attack had taken him by surprise, Earl McCready, Canada, snatched victory by two falls to one in the -last round of his eagerly-awaited match with Paul Bocsch, United States, last evening. It was a fast and clever contest, in which each wrestler in turn showed great endurance in withstanding holds which appeared certain to earn submission falls. In the seventh round McCready secured a fall with a bodypress after three terrific slams. At first it seemed unlikely that Boesch would be able to resume, but he came out for the eighth round with another flying tacklc. McCready evaded it, and easily slammed Boesch to the mat and secured the winning fall after a heavy dump. LURICH IN TROUBLE AGAIN. SYDNEY, August 16. At the Leicliliardt Stadium last evening Tom Lurich was disqualified in the fourth round of a wrestling contest with Fred Atkins. . „ During the contest Luricli accidentally kicked the referee, Dick Cameron, who was compelled to obtain as a substitute the bearded Alec Lundyn. He was attempting to separate the wrestlers, when Lurich gave his whiskers an angry tug, whereupon he was disqualified.
