NEW COMEDY PLAY.
HIS MAJESTY'S TO-MORROW. i Versatility of the current touring company at His Majesty's Theatre under J. (J. Williamson auspices, headed 'by three New Zealand actresses—Elaine Hamill, of Hamilton and Taihape, Ethel Morrison, of Wellington, and Katie Towers, of Thames—is being thoroughly tried in the repertoire of plays presented at Auckland. Opening with Novello's "Fresh Fields," a racy comedy, they went on to Keith Winter's domestic drama "The Shining Hour," will carry on with Rachel Crothers' successful Broadway comedy of Paris," "As Husbands Go,'' and. will close with Emlyn Williams' thrilling psychological crime drama, "Night Must Fall." To-morrow's matinee and evening presentations will be initial .Auckland performances of "As Husbands Go," presented first in New York some four or five years ago and later made into a film in Hollywood, with Warner Baxter, Helen Vinson and G. P. Huntley starring. The present company includes, besides the three mentioned, Campbell Copelin, Lloyd Lamble, Harvey Adams, Arthur Lane, PhyllLs Baker, Connie Martyn, Edith Hollins and Norman Shepherd.
