UNLICENSED RADIOS
A number of prosecutions for operating unlicensed radio sets were heard by ->' r - W. R. McKean, S.M., in the Poi!<* Court this morning, and fines ranging from 10/ to 30/ were imposed. wltJl costs. One defendant, who had been fined on four previous occasions similar offences, was fined 30/ and cost 15/. Another defendant, a man o® sustenance, who asked for time to p*. the fine imposed, was advised by J® magistrate to return the radio, but the 'defendant intimated that he to keep it a» it cost onlv a few shilhDii 5 a week.
