PRESBYTERY MEETS.
SOUTH ATTCKIJAND UNION. The South Auckland Presbytery bimonthly meeting was presided over by the Rev. H. W. Hitchcock, of Clevedon. The morning session was held in the Papakura Presbyterian Church, social problems being discussed. Papers were read by Rev. J. Graham (Waiuku) and the Rev. G. P. McKenzie, M.A., of Drury. The regular meeting took place at Drury. Advice was received that allocations had been made of the congregation contributions to the assembly schemes. In the case of South Auckland the amount was £660. Reports were received from the commissions which had visited Hunua and Drury congregations and both were deemed satisfactory. The Rev. Mr. McKenzie, the convener of the youth committee, reported that Mr. H. Manson, travelling secretary of i the men's Bible classes, and Miss E. Allen, assembly youth worker, would be j spending a week in the Presbytery's dis. | trict. Meetings were to be held in the j various churches this month. j
