TWO CRANES.
; x HARBOUR FACILITIES. ; PLANT ORDERED FROM ENGLAND. Two new cranes ordered from England t by the Auckland Harbour Board are . expected to arrive at Auckland by the Ruahine on June 18, and two more are to be shipped by the Northumberland, which is due later. Arrangements are i ; now being made for the four cranes to ;! be assembled on' Central wharf when i j they are landed, and they will then be i I transported by the floating crane Mahua i i to whichever wharves on which the board l decides to use them. i The cranes are of the most modern i type, and will facilitate shipping at - Auckland. They were authorised on the - | recommendation of the board's superin- ■ | tendeiit, Mr. D. Holderness.
