SHERIDAN PLAYERS.
The Sheridan Players held their usual fortnightly club evening 111 the National Counril of Women's clubrooms, when there was an exceedingly large attendance of members and friends present, the hostess being Mrs. E. 11. Brooks. Three one-act plays were read by members, the casts being as follows: "World Without Men," a comedy produced by Miss K. Stenson, those taking part being Misses Eileen Stenson, Nance Warren. Merlvn Spooner. Hilary Booth, Beryl Barry,' Hilda Gavev and Lesley Lane. This was followed by a farce, "Evening Dress Indispensable." produced by Miss Iwa Pearson, the cast consisting of Misses Norma McLeod, Olive Blaekie and Lenvra Clarke and Messrs. Howard Newcombe and Lawrence Cunningham. The last play "Vindication," a drama produced by_Mr. Les Ryan and played by the following: Misses Arawa Heron, Marjorie Kyle and Nance Lamb and Messrs. Jack Spooner and Les Ryan. During the evening indivdual items were rendered by Misses Hilda Gavey, Nancy Warren, Eileen Fraser and Beryl Barry.
